Phillip Arsuffi, DMD
Born and raised in the Youngstown area, Dr. Arsuffi is a graduate of both South Range High School and Youngstown State University. He attended dental school at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry and advanced his education and clinical skills by completing a hospital-based general practice residency program at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio.
Dr. Arsuffi lives in the area with his wife, Matti, who is an elementary teacher at a local school district. In their free time, they enjoy running and biking, trying new food, taking care of their chocolate lab, Sadie, and spending time with their family and friends.
It’s important to Dr. Arsuffi that when patients visit the office, their comfort and satisfaction are the main priority. He is committed to professional development by regularly taking continuing education courses to stay current with the best practices and materials in dentistry. Dr. Arsuffi understands that building a trusting relationship with patients takes time and more importantly, honesty and transparency.
Jennifer L. Ricciuti – Dental Hygienist
As a hygienist, Jennifer is dedicated to educating patients on their individual dental needs. She received her dental hygiene degree from Youngstown State University. Over her 28-year-old career (entirely in the Mahoning Valley), Jennifer has made it her specialty to gain knowledge and insight to always give her patients the best care possible. Jennifer makes sure her patients feel comfortable and have a positive experience.
Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys reading about health and nutrition, tending to her garden and spending time with her two children.
Jennette Thomas – EFDA
Jennette earned her certified dental assistant certification from Choffin Career & Technical Center in 2006. She continued her education and training at Case Western Reserve University to become an Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA). Being an EFDA allows Jennette to place fillings under the supervision of Dr. Arsuffi.
She enjoys meeting new people and helping them love their smiles. When she is not at the office, Jennette enjoys watching her children play sports, caring for her pets and traveling.
Rita Musial – Office Manager
Rita was born and raised in the Youngstown area. She graduated from Boardman High School and then Youngstown State University, where she earned a degree in business management and court reporting. She has lived in New Springfield for 23 years and has worked as the office manager at this location for 10 years.
Rita loves to visit national forests and hike with her family. At home, she enjoys trying new recipes in the kitchen. When she’s working, Rita looks forward to meeting new patients and answering questions for them about their dental and insurance needs.
